1. Please be on time for class, late arrivals limit the amount of information I teach to your student.
2. Remember I am here to help, just contact me: mslargin@richardsacademy.com or 770-645-2846. (please do not call after 9 PM)
3. Everyone will receive a syllabus on the first day of school. Additional copies can be made off this page, just click on the appropriate class below. Please keep one in your notebook and one at home. Any changes to it will be given in class and emailed.
4. I do not accept late work, nor do I reschedule exams. Please plan to attend or make plans prior if you are not able to attend class that day. (get notes from a friend, schedule exam early, etc)
5. I give lots of projects and there is plenty of time to complete them. Start IMMEDIATELY, do not wait. I usually give one class time between projects called "team time" to work in class, but ALL RESEARCH needs to be done BEFORE coming to class. This gives me the opportunity to make sure you are on the right path.
6. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. The classroom is designed for the student who wants to learn. Students who inhibit the learning process will be removed from the class.
7. I believe in giving rewards where a reward is due. With that being said, I will exempt your student from midterms and/or final exams if they have an "A" and less than 2 unexcused absences or a "B" and less than 1 unexcused absence. Your student is always welcome to take the test to better their grade.
8. My grade scale is as follows:
100-90 = A 89-80 = B 79-74 = C 73 -0 = F
I love what I do and I hope you students enjoy my class.
